Dr Minshen Zhu was appointed as a Board Member of the Confucius Institute of the University of Sydney, which was officially launched on 17th June 2008.

1       In Nov 2007 at Fudan, Dr Zhu participated in the signing ceremony of the collaboration on Confucius Institute between the University of Sydney and Fudan University.

2       In March 2008, Dr Zhu accompanied Prof Weiping Wang, Standing Vice President of Fudan University, and Prof Chouwen Zhu, Deputy Director of Fudan Foreign Affairs, to visit Prof John Hearn, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) of the University of Sydney, in discussing on the launch of the Confucius Institute.
