Entry requirements:
The entry requirement is a NSW HSC or equivalent. For overseas students the English Language requirement is IELTS 5.5 with no sub band less than 5.0
Subjects studied:
Accounting 1A
Students will gain the competency to identify skills and outcomes associated with the development of financial reports for organisations. This unit covers the key competencies of Financial Accounting Principles and Reporting Procedures and also covers managing budgets and forecasts and how to prepare financial reports for reporting entities.
Accounting 1B
This unit is an extension of Accounting 1B, and further develops the theoretical underpinnings of financial accounting. It covers issues related to classification of revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities, and aims to promote skills in reporting and the exercising of judgment in accounting practices.
Information Systems
This unit proves participants with an approach to create and manage information. The participant will be able to identify, acquire, analyse and use appropriate information to aid in the efficiency and effectiveness of the individual's/team's/ organisation's performance
Management
Students undertaking this unit will be seeking to apply a broad range of management and leadership knowledge and skills and be responsible for leading and contributing to a work environment
Marketing
This unit covers the determination of the optimum marketing mix for a business through analysis of inter-related marketing components. The unit will examine a firm’s marketing objectives at the internal and external level and analyse consumer behaviour on decision making and the affect this has on the development and implementation of marketing programs

Articulation Arrangements
Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Management will receive one semester’s advanced standing into the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at University of New England program offered at the Australian Technology Park, Sydney.
